Alaska Cruise and land tour- Is it better to book separate tours?

Any suggestions on who to deal with? We are thinking Princess Cruise followed with a 4 or 5 day land tour but are wondering if booking a separate land tour would be better than the cruise ship offers. We’re also looking for a great deal, money-wise. I’d like to fish the last day and bring fish home to the San Francisco bay area.

the excersions offered on the ship are priced higher then if you book them separatedly. i suggest u book your land tours separately. don’t book them on the ship. book them in advance thru the internet if possible.

I used to book for these guys up in Seattle, and I seen alot people’s plans go down the drain just because they didn’t bring a passport.

Plus I hated the people who didn’t have on in the first place.

Made more work for me, meaning more time wasted in line.

You will be traveling in international waters, so bring your passort and save yourself the grief.

The best way is to book the Cruise/Land Tour together. you will save money and it’s all done at one place which is always more convienient.
