If you have booked an Alaska cruise vacation then you are in for a wonderful holiday and will bring back a mountain of memories. Alaska is like no other holiday destination. It is part of the United States but apart from it. It has a very large land area but a small number of people live there. Prepare yourself to see rare eagles or get a glimpse of a deer across the forest if you and your tour group move quietly whilst being alert.
Do not get carried away and book onto every expedition available. The land is large and the climate can be variable.
